We searched google for a support number to call Quickbooks intuit, the number that populated is listed above. They were obtaining information like normal for our issue and then attempted to say that we needed to pay $700.00 in order for our "Corrupt file" to be resolved. They were stating that we needed to purchase support help. We immediately hung up and advised with out IT guy, he stated that sounded completely incorrect and advised us to not continue. Their numbers populated when they would call us back as "Eric Quickbooks" and "Roger Quickbooks" (Very concerning) Once speaking with Intuit support they were able to resolve our issue FREE and within 2 minutes.. not 3 hours. our IT guy stated QB scams are popular since its a popular accounting tool to use. Beware!
