I was applying to a remote customer service position with INTUIT COMPANY. The position had flexible hours at 20.55 p/h. I would be paid weekly via direct deposit. Upon being hired I was asked to provide my identification and personal information. I did. One of the requirements was through Id me. I received prompts stating my identity was being used in California and was I in control of the email account displayed on the screen. I responded no and was unable to proceed with processing. I told the hiring manager this and his final answer was along the lines of he’s sorry I feel that I’ve been scammed he has kids and believes in karma.
