They advertised kayaks on Facebook for a price that was considerably better than I had seen other places. I am not usually one to fall for fake ads, but I had heard of teh brand Intex before, and the link they displayed said it went to Intex.com (it didn't). When you click, it takes you to Intexcs.com (they have many variations of this URL, but they trace back to this main site). I found a 3 person canoe in the $125 range and tried to buy it. I input my credit card info, and everything looked good until I hit "Submit". I got a message that said "Transaction could not be completed. Card rejected." That seemed strange, as I knew I wasn't at my limit on that credit card. I then went to check my credit card website, and it showed a transaction going thru from PINGWILD.com (which I had never visited). I contested the charge and reported the card, so no additional charges could be made. About 2 weeks later, I received an unsolicited pair of fake RayBans.
