I received a automated voicemail , saying that I had won a 2023 Mercedes GE and 2.5 million dollars, I was to call GL at 3153036557, so I did, he asked me about my phone number and he already had my address, it seemed totally legit untill he said to expect a call from a guy in financial field named White, he called from 2059009683, white told me that I would need to send $485 totally refundable, it was the fee for having it direct deposited, and the delivery fee for the car, I told him there was no way, I'm broke, so then he asked if I had a cash app account, and if I did it would lower the amount to $185, if I used cash app. I still told him it was impossible for me to do , so he said he was going to see what he could do, I told him that I got my check in 3 days, so he said they could wait 3 days, and he was going to see what could be done for me and call me back, this conversation happened today 4/20/2023

I was told I won Publisher Clearing House prize 1.2 million and a car, all taxes paid. (I have entered a PCH sweepstakes a few weeks ago). I would receive my prizes by wiring a three hundred and ninety five dollar "handling fee" at a Western Union site at Walmart or RiteAid. I asked them to send confirmation by e-mail and was told they were not allowed to do that. I was told to call back the number and I would be in contact with the bank manager of Government Merchant Bank for transfer of the prize money and the handling fee (cash only). I became suspicious when the female bank manager had the same foreign accent as Mr. John Jones, the original caller. They both tried to convince me to claim my "prize" today, even though I told them that I had the entire day off tomorrow. I was at work but was called originally on my cell phone. I got a chance to check out the ScamPulse.com website a hour later.

Thank you so much for posting the Scam Alert. I was told exactly the same thing as on the Sweepstakes scam alert except they were from Birmingham, Alabama.
