I applied for a $50,000 grant. Was told I’d have to pay $1000. $500 fee and $500 taxes. I never received the money, and now they’re saying I owe verification fee. First it was a thousand dollars then dropped to $700. They say they can’t find me in the system, even after I’ve sent them my drivers license, ss card, and voters registration card. They say I have to pay that fee for the databases to confirm my identity. I’ve gone two months flat broke cause I paid them $500 March and April. A friend applied and received her grant, why are they scamming me?
