The lady called saying that we agreed to a trial accounts payable service, that supposedly extended into a year subscription of an AP Newsletter that we have never received. She also said that we should have received several invoices which we have never received. She was very pushy and spoke over me as I was trying to ask questions. I've been with my company for over 12 years....I am well aware of all the scams out there and do not fall for them, nor would sign up for an AP newsletter or any kind of service. She said that I used my birthday to authorize the transaction, which is easy to find these days. These people are trying to prey on businesses that simply would pay the invoice based on a threat.

Christina from International Credit Recovery Inc called saying the company I work for agreed to pay for a publication and fees were due on the publication we already received, which we didn't. She said we owed $249 and that they would wave the late fees if I gave her the credit card info or overnighted a check. I thought the call was strange and looked them up. She called back the next day 5 times trying to get a hold of me to pay it and called up to accounts payable.
