automated phone call stated that it was the Internal Revenue Service calling & that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me/us. They left a phone number to call back, 509-537-0491. I did a reverse look up & it turns out that it is a scam flagged as extortion and many people have been contacted and have reported it. I did call & talked to 2 different people, the first hung up on me so I called again. I could tell it was not legitimate but he insisted he was with the Internal Revenue Service. Both people I talked to were very hard to understand as they were foreigners. The address for the phone number showed up as Pasco, WA
