Type of a scam Tax Collection
"This message is intended for Hannah Hutt, my name is Emma Bennet Chief Investigate Officer with the Internal Revenue Service. The reason of my call is to notify you that arrest one has been issued against your name at your physical address under federal investigation, for the full... (not spoken clearly enough to understand)... case files to local police department to get you arrested (?). Please give us a call at my department call back number, which is 347-434-4606. I'll repeat, it is 347-434-4606. It is really important that you get back to me as soon as possible so any legal actions taken against you. Once again this is Emma Bennet Chief Investigating Officer with the Internal Revenue Service."
Everyone in my family has gotten this call now and I would appreciate if they could be found and stopped. My 92 year old grandmother is still very upset from the call they made to her. They insisted that she pay a large amount of money to them over the phone to prevent any issues. Luckily, she knew that the IRS contacts via certified mail so she did not comply with the phone call but she is still very shaken up.
I was able to save the message and would be happy to send it in an email if someone reaches out to me with the proper address to send it to. It automatically saved in a .m4a format.
