I purchased a Husky puppy from an “experienced” breeder online and he assured us the payment had shipping included. The next morning, we got an email asking us for additional money to get us to pay for an electronic crate. They never called us from a corporate number or any number that was linked to the website. They continued do call us and try to stress a sense of urgency to get us to pay for the crate and assured us that we will get our money back. When we brought up previous scams, they were immediately stunned. They tried to let us know that they had been doing this process for years and that they had no history of scam. But upon further research, we found that someone else experienced the same thing and hadn’t received their puppy. Remy Murphy was the “Agent in Charge” of the puppy and he seemed very irritated the second I brought up scam. I also talked to a supervisor and he had different information for me as well.
