Type of a scam CryptoCurrency
(Bitcoin mining). I told him i heard about it but i was unsure how it works. He claimed that he is an investor and it was profitable for him, because he invests with someone else. After he gave me the person instagram account i added them and reached out to make a few inquiries as to what/how the investment works. The person did not go into full details how it works, but stated that, "its
like investing your Money to be traded with and getting back lots of profits. The amount you invest determines how much profit you
earned." The person reassures me that what i invest is 100% guaranteed as if they really know what they are doing. Anyhow, i told them that i am willing to invest $1,000. They mentioned that if i invest $1,000 i will get back $10,000. As a result, we tried numerous times
to set up a Bitcoin wallet in order to send the bitcoin to make the investment but upon downloading and trying so many
different apps it wasn't a success until after a period of time i lost interest. Eventually, we end up exchanging numbers to communicate
through Whatsapp - there they kept pestering me in trying different methods of sending the bitcoin. It wasn't until 3/19/22 i figured
out a way to send the bitcoin: i had to download the Liberty X app, then send it to my bitcoin wallet, and then send it to their
"company's wallet". After they confirm to have received the bitcoin in the sum of $916.42, they provided a link for
me to register into the company's broker website https://intercryptoworld.com/. Upon the completion of the registration process, they
claimed that my trade was in progress and would let me know when it is completed. 5 minutes later they told me to check on the
broker website and see for myself, i took a screenshot and showed them but what i invested and the profit there were both zero. I
signed out and signed back in and eventually it showed what i invested ($1,000) and the profit being ($10,000), however, i didn't
know if those figures were legitimate considering the short period of time it takes them (perhaps those numbers were manipulated). So i got excited thinking that it was real, but later i started to get suspicious. They told me that i could make a withdrawal to my bank account, but after trying it multiple times i was unable to (the page gave me an error message) which i took a screenshot of. I showed it to the person and the person asked me to message the company on their website. After messaging them, no one replied so the person said that i could try again to make the withdrawal the next day. A few hours later at the person messaged me and coincidentally someone replied as well on the company's website asking me to provide my bank account information, which i did. Then they replied "Hold for confirmation withdrawal." About 15 mins later they request for me to send additional bitcoin fee in the sum of $870 for broker permit and withdrawal permit, which i did a few hours later by sending it to another bitcoin wallet they provided me with. After sending it they told me again to hold for confirmation. 3.5 hours later they told me that the broker and withdrawal permit was confirmed, but an additional $1,250 was needed for Cost of Transfer. Afterwards I realized they all scammed me. Beware and Stayyy Awaayyyyy from Them!!!!
