This agent called from a loud call center and asked to confirm my name and Date of Birth, and then went on to explain that he needed to update my medical insurance as he is aware that I am suffering from a major medical condition and listed off several. I advised him that he did not have my DOB correct and that he is not my medical carrier and by laws of HIPAA he has no rights to have access to my medical information and this is a violation of my privacy rights and I would report this to the BBB.
