Phishing for my social security number from the Vienna, Virginia office. Multiple times regarding a potential job offer. Called him back and discussed the position briefly and he returned my call asking me to give him my social security number over the phone, to verify my security clearance. All of this was before a job interview and I never give my social security number to anyone over the phone. I asked him for a ob application to apply to provide the information securely and he claimed they just verify the information first before setting up the interview. He offered to call his security POC for him on his phone to have me to talk to the security POC to give him my SSN and when I said that would not work, he flat out asked "what do I have to do, to get you to give me your social security number?" My answer was "provide a job application" and he did not have one. So I decided to not go any further. Several colleagues from the same company with the same Gallows road address have since contacted me with the same/similar job description... "I have a job opportunity that fits with your background" but the requirements are ill-defined and vague. My latest replay informed "MaryKate" that her colleague tried to get me to provide my social over the phone and no recruiter that I have talked asked me to give this info over the phone, before an interview.
