I received this email after receiving several calls and requesting it is sent via email - they transferred me to the "manager" who finally agreed to email me. When I told them I would send to my local law enforcement to make sure they were not a scam - he said to go ahead and they can call me and he abruptly hung up.

They called saying I had an old payday loan, from the best I can tell from the info they had would have been about 15 years ago. They said if I didn't resolve the issue that all my accounts would be frozen.

The scammer tried to use scare tactics by saying if I didn't pay the loan amount that I would be in front of a federal judge in a month to month in a half and that all my bank accounts will be frozen

My daughter received a call regarding a debt I owed. She asked them to call me directly. I was then told that I had an unpaid loan from EZMoney for $962 and that the last time they had attempted to contact me was in 2019. They had my last two addresses, phone number, date of birth, and email address (which was not my email address when I was at my previous address), but had a ssn that was incorrect. 'Manager' who i spoke with next told me that ssn's were often written so they might have written it down wrong, but none of the numbers were correct. I did NOT give them the correct number. They would not send me a copy of the application, but said I could see it when I went to court. I did receive an email upon requesting one. When I read them the ScamPulse.com report, the 'manager/lien guy' spouted off a bunch of stuff quickly and hung up on me. The contents of the email I received are below:

Patricia called several different times with several different numbers, when she left a message saying this was my last chance to contact her about a plan from ez loan. When I called she proceeded to tell me that the original amount was 1100.00 but so to COVID some fees were taken off. She transferred me to a person who told me if I don't pay they would freeze my bank accounts and subpoena me to court. I setup a payment plan and paid 100 of the 750. When asked for they're business license number she told me it would be on the email she sent. Low and behold it wasn't. I can't find any info on this supposed company so i froze my own bank account so they can't take anymore.

On 3/15/24 the father of my kids received a call for me from 839-529-1905. I called them back and spoke to a gentleman who advised me that I owe a company by the name of EZ money for obtaining a loan under false information by stating I worked for ER Solutions and I didn't. When I asked more questions, he put me on hold and some name Kendall Cope id#11-23067 came to the line who said she was with Chex Systems. When I told her I didn't know what was going on she said this debt was for a payday loan that was opened 3/1/2012 and went to collections 10/4/2019. The balance I owe is $1320.95 but I can settle for $632.95. I inquired as to who EZ money was, and she said a blanket umbrella company for payday loans and refused to give the name of the original creditor. I was told that I needed to pay it off today of they are going to freeze by bank accounts.
