I went on Facebook Marketplace this morning. Say a link from Wayfair for closeout sales - claimed to be warehouse overstock as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. I ordered furniture, rugs, a dog bed, bean bag chair, and shiatsu foot massager. When I made the payment, it still appeared as though I was on the Wayfair website however, when I received my order summary - I could tell it was fake. No phone number, the email address provided for contact is [email protected] - not valid. Email claims to have been sent by "Furnitures" (Furnitures [email protected] via mailer.shopemail.com) I tried to attach a copy of the order confirmation, and screen shots of the website, page where I submitted payment, image of furniture - but for some reason, am not able to upload file. I knew it was too good to be true but, I thought today was my lucky day. My biggest concern is making sure I get my money back, making sure no one else gets scammed, and making sure that no one attempts to use my debit card/address or phone number. I have already reported to my bank.
