I received an email congratulating me on the "purchase of my new device" immediately after ordering a new I phone and Apple Care+. I was led to believe I needed to "create an account" for my new "protection service for my device". I was led to believe it was related to my "Apple Care" and created an account, which included asking me for my social security number and credit card information. I then realized this was not apple care and I tried to cancel the account. There was no place to cancel, so I called the company, and they said they needed more personal information to cancel the account. I gave them nothing and hung up. They did get my social security number, name, address, birthdate.
