The scammer is under the name Gayatri. R Rao on Skype (live:.cid.339ffa9c497df9ff) and contacted me about a job offering for Rocket Pharmaceutical, Inc as a junior video editor. We conducted the entire interview on Skype and had all interactions there as well. After filling out employment papers (did not give out SSN or bank account/routing numbers), I received a check to buy some office supplies to create a mini home office set up. I received the check through UPS instead of an envelope, and called the bank associated on the check: Forum Credit Union. I got in touch with a representative and asked to legitimize the check. However, the lady said that the check number was not from their bank.
