Informed Electorate PAC Reports & Reviews (3)

I received a call to answer a survey, I did, at the end they asked if I would support them with a donation. I said no. Later I received a letter from them requesting my promised donation (to which I had said no).

The first phone call is a robot call and the initial question is "Did you vote in the last election?" If you respond "yes" to that, you will receive more calls and they ask for donations for their PAC. The website is unsophisticated with minimal data readily available from anywhere. Online searches on the so-called PAC confirm that others find them a scam phishing for money.

Received a phone call at 9:45 AM on March 18, 2017 from 469-607-4695 which was lsited as Informed Electorate PAC. The caller said to answer either 'yes' or 'no' I was then asked "Did you personally vote in the last election?" I answered 'yes', then remembered about the scams that had been reported in that they use your 'yes' answer to use as authorization for scam charges. I immediately hung up.

I notified Comcast - my phone carrier - about the call to put it on report in case of problems in the future.
