I asked google for a people search and I chose Information.com because they said it was free. After I filled everything out it said it cost 99 cents which I was willing to pa. But when I hit the send button they claimed my credit card was declined. I checked everything and everything was right so I tried it again and again it came back declined.

I called Master Credit Card and they asked if I was calling in regards to the charges for $35.18. They did remove that from my credit card but they also said that I taken out a subscription, which I never did. All I wanted was what they were advertising for which was the.99 cents program. I checked earlier today and that .99 cents price is still there. Thank you

the website claimed to not waist money and time and claimed its services where free apon wasting all my time they wanted me to pay for the service once it was time to see the information

When i was in search of background search data for a phone call number, i received, i came across Information.com, as the first Google resource to do a phone number background check. Information.com took all of my personal information then claimed that they would only charge .99 cents, for a complete comprehensive package. I clicked on agree proceed, and immediately got blocked by my bank for a fraudulent $29 charge being submitted to Infirmation.com. is there any way to penalize Information.com for their fraudulent business practices?

I was browsing on my cell phone and found this site information.com/peopledirectory offering free report regarding myself which included my name, address, age and can't remember some of the other information that I had to enter; however at the end when they indicated my report was ready, they wanted me to pay 1.00 with a credit card. I did not go any further. Continued scrolling down & reading complaints and other reviews where consumers indicated that after they paid for the report that they were refunded the 1.00 and were getting charged 30.00 for the subscription. They also indicated that I had a shocking criminal past which isn't true. Bill Wade is supposedly the owner.

The site is used for personal background checks, and the “free trial was $1. I paid that, and a few hours later a charge for $30.98 showed up in my bank account. Apparently they’ve done this to others as well.
