Hudson Bay Boutique was advertising a closing out sale. It was pretending to be an outlet store for Hudson Bay which has traditionally been Canadian. The more items you bought, the bigger the discount. Once my order was made, payment was made/taken by credit card. I ordered a knit turtleneck sweater and a quilted hoodie. Shortly there after an order confirmation with order number was received by email. A few days later a "delay in shipping" notice and change of email address was provided. Products eventually were delivered and looked nothing at all like the photos which showed high quality, beautifully made , colourful clothing. Knit sweater was just a polyester mix print fabric with no texture. Quilted hoodie was the same. The fit was too big despite using the size chart provided for reference. I had to search around for a working email address and found one by chance. Initially it the business sounded willing to provide refund after sending photos or video of the items received to show they were in good condition. I have a whole series of emails trying to get full refund. First offer was 15% refund of my total purchase price of $107.91. I replied saying that was unacceptable because I wanted to send the product back for a full refund to which the "counter" offer was 25% refund of my total purchase price. I replied again stating I wanted a full refund in exchange for return of both items. THEN the reply was that I could get a full refund if I send the products to Contact Name: Wei Xinhong

Wouldn't you know it costs roughly $120 Canadian to ship to China.

When I demanded I be provided with an address in my local area (BC) or Canada the reply was "it's not possible" even thought the products were send from and address in Burnaby, BC. I went to the Consumer Protection BC site and the recommendation was to call my credit card company, file a complaint and have the money refunded through them. I did this and am now waiting for the fraud department to get back to me.

These products are also being shown on other Facebook accounts with business names of Harper & Sage AND True Nova (both appearing falsely to be Canadian)
