I bought ATV side by side parts from Facebook Marketplace to ATV-Cycle and paid $1120 by Venmo to the seller on November 13, 2022. The seller said his credit card machine wasn't working and the best way to send him the money was through Venmo @darius-simmons-15. The next w eek I checked the link and expected delivery was the 19th, but I hadn't received the parts. So I texted him at 609-375-8777. He said he had checked with the shipping company, and they said they had sent me an email from [email protected] which said according to the terms and conditions, they need insurance to be paid for $700. We said no. then they said $600. Then the seller said he would pay half. We said no. We contacted Venmo and they said the counterparty has insufficient funds and for resolution reach out to the recipient of the payment.
