I was contacted by an independent recruiter from Career Builder to check on a potential job. I responded via email and they set up Skype meeting for indepth interview. After the interview, they stated I was a perfect candidate for them (data entry) and to be back on Skype the next day at 8am. for training. During this Skype interview all they wanted to ask me was to purchase their equipment with my credit card which they would put money on so I could purchase their equipment, which was stated upfront all their equipment would be provided free. I refused to give them my credit card information but I had already signed an employment offer which included my SS#. I then recinded my offer of employment due to their harassing me for my credit card. I have contacted my credit card companies to put a freeze on them and Experian to freeze any unauthorized use on my name or SS#. This will go to all credit bureaus. Be careful. They are sheep in wolfes clothing. Very smooth and charismatic. I feel foolish for thinking it was real. But all of the documentation appeared normal to me until they wanted money.
