I ordered a pool ladder online thankfully through paypal, Received a tracking number the next day, I signed up for updates with USPS, I received 1 update, then noticed my package went from Queens (Close to me) to California, I thought this was odd, so i emailed the seller and paypal regarding this. No response from seller, i filed a compla8nt immediately with paypal, almost 2 weeks later I received a text message stating “Package delivered - left at or in mailbox” mind you, i was sitting out in front of my home, no package, reported same to USPS, received a call the next day with all tracking info regarding my pool ladder, the package sent and mailed to a different address in my area weighed 8 ounces, not a 25 pound ladder, the USPS man said you have been scammed, he said the scammer mails something with nothing in it to a fake address just to get a tracking number, they send tracking number to seller so you think its a real purchase and monies go thru without a problem. So, paypal is still waiting for a response from seller today is the last day for seller to respond. Paypal will reimburse my money and I of course don’t have to worry that this scammer/thief has my credit card info. Anyway, beware...you will never get your item.
