There was a number that reached out to me from my resume that was posted online. Told me to go to google hangouts and asked for my email address. I went on google hangouts and was connected with the "interview manager" through chat. Went through the interview process and was offered the job the next day. Continued communication and they told me that they sent me a check to cash for software and they were going to send me equipment. I was sure it was a scam by then and confronted them about it. They stopped replying after I mentioned fraudulent checks being cashed and that I could not risk doing that. All and all I am glad that I confronted them about it.
