These individuals have sent out text messages saying that my account is currently on hold for verification and that I need to click the link in the text to regain access.

Got a text message from “Wells Fargo” saying there was suspicious activities on my credit card and to click the link to confirm charges. Didn’t click , blocked the address it came from and reported to Wells Fargo after confirming it was a scam with them.

So I’m not sure if I filled this out properly, but....

Apparently not only me, but my friends as well have received a text from an account posing as Wells Fargo. I don’t have anything linked to my phone with that business, so I immediately knew this was a scam. I was sent a suspicious bitly link. If anyone received a message like this, please don’t click on it. These people are fake.
