On 03/16/22 an individual claiming to be from the Wells Fargo fraud department called my mother and told her that her bank account had been hijacked and that she needed to withdraw all of her money from her account. She received multiple calls from this number. When she mentioned she was going to get her daughter involved, the caller instructed her not to tell her daughter.

When I met up with her at the bank, she was trying to cash a check written out to Cash in the amount of $10,999.39.
