On 5/17/2022 received letter from debt collector saying I took out a line of credit under 2 separate accounts with Upgrade totaling $17,000 in January 2022. This is the first I have heard of this or of that Loan company. I was informed of the email used to apply for the line of credit and it was not mine. I have never requested nor authorized a line of credit from them. I have contacted the police and filed a report as well as notified the IRS as well as the 3 major credit agencies. Despite contesting the loan with Upgrade which they acknowledge I continue to receive threatening letters from their loan collection bureau.
