I received two calls from 985-201-4467, and both times the entity left the same prerecorded message. The message sounded as though it was created using a soundboard of prerecorded individual words. The message told me that I was being sued by the United States government regarding an intentional fraud after someone had purportedly attempted to contact me over the past six months. Since this is not how to properly serve a defendant in any US jurisdiction, it is clearly a scam seeking to gain something (I did not call the number back to find out what). After blocking the number, I received another call from a separate number leaving the same message only two hours later. The second number used was 443-465-7397.
