I received an email from [email protected] titled "New Job Opportunity". I have been applying for jobs, so I assumed it was in response to somewhere I put my resume out to. The email thanked me for applying to their job post for an Administrative Assistant position and said they were impressed with my background and would like to invite me for a job briefing and interview through Google Hangouts. I was given a verification code to give during the interview and was told to contact the Hiring Manager, Mrs. Angelica Aguirre at [email protected]. I contacted Mrs. Aguirre and had what I believed was an interview for a little over an hour and a half yesterday, 6/11/2019. After the interview process I was told I received the position. She informed me the company would be sending me a check to take to a local vendor to purchase several pieces of office equipment- macbook pro laptop, apple iphone, laser printer, scanner, fax machine, large copier, laminating machine, and a paper shredder. I was told to be back online on Google Hangouts at 8am promptly to be attached to the training supervisor. I signed in by 8am and waited for an hour and a half before the Hiring Manager messaged me. She gave me the training supervisors email, [email protected], and directed me to get in touch with him to begin the training process. I emailed him and he stated his name was Mr. Marine Holland. He went over the programs that would be used such as NetSuite SAP, Aquilon Software Sage Pronto Software, Epicor, Exact, UNIT4, and Flexi Software. He then went over the office equipment to be purchased from a local vendor. He asked for my email to send documentation for me to print, sign, and return. The documentation took 20 minutes to be sent. The first thing I noticed was the address, 123 Main St. I also did not feel comfortable at this point to give up my SSN. I asked for him to verify the legitimacy of this company, as I did not want to give up my SSN just yet. He stated "I want you to know this is full legitimate company. We are ScamPulse.com registered. If you are not comfortable for the SSN you can leave it. But I want you to know all your information is fully safe with the company." I then messaged the Hiring Manager and stated to her the same thing, I wanted some verification for the legitimacy of this company and I did not want to give my SSN just yet. She stated the company HR would give me a call soon. In 2 minutes I received a call from 563-538-8549 from a man stating to be the HR of Tine Health. He just said my information was safe, I could ask him any questions, and this is a legitimate company. I explained I could not find the company on the ScamPulse.com website and he said their information was private. I was confused so I said "ok, thanks for calling" and hung up. 7 minutes later the Training Supervisor messaged me and said "I believe you get in touch with the HR department". I informed him someone called me from Lansing, IA. He said "Yes, that correct, that the company HR department" "I believe you are working on the employment letter?". I replied "I am sorry, but I am a little weary of giving any more of my information out. I can not find this company on the ScamPulse.com nor can I find the address anywhere on Google.". I have not heard back from him since and here I am typing this scam report as I do not believe the legitimacy of the company, Tine Health. I was told I would be paid $21/hr for 2 weeks of training and $30/hr after. I was on Google Hangouts from 8am until 11am this morning, 6/12/2019 and do not think I will be paid for my wasted time.
