I answered the call because they have called me several times today. The recording said they were the Social Security Department and they were suspending my SS due to some suspicious activity and If I wanted to learn more then to press 1. It's a scam so I pressed 1 out of anger. A man answered and said Social Security Investigation Department. I immediately said this is illegal and he hung up on me. I am 52 and don't get SS and know that they would not call even if I were. The call said Jefferson City, MO 1-573-257-5183. I blocked the number, if though this may not keep them from calling back on another number.
