I just moved and disconnected my DISH acct. at the old address and enrolled in Spectrum TV at the new address, with all new equipment. My phone rang today and my Caller ID showed a local number with the name Christine DeBruin, so I answered the call. It was a gentleman with a heavy Indian accent notifying me that they needed to upgrade my Spectrum TV reception. He had me click on the "Guide" section of the TV screen. Then he activated 3 tones on the phone and asked if I heard them, which I did. Then he said it will take 5-7 min. for the upgrade to complete. He then said that for a "refundable" fee of $149.23 I can get better reception, etc. If I didn't opt for the upgrade I will lose all TV reception. After having worked for the ScamPulse.com for 9 years, I knew this was a scam call, and I hung up. My TV reception is fine.
