I received a text in regards to employment I had applied for using the Indeed App. It seemed legitimate. I went through an extensive interview process using Google Hangouts. I was advised I would be receiving a check for the purchase of working materials & computer equipment. I received the check via FedEx the next day. I deposited the check. Upon conversation with who I thought was the hiring manager, I was instructed to transfer funds using the Zelle & Cash Apps. I started questioning things & discovered the check to be fraudulent.
