Last year on 7/26/21 Received a phone call from someone claiming to be a Federal Officer. He informed me that my social security number had been stolen and was used for federal charges including drug trafficking and money laundering. The person advised that because it was my social security number associated with these charges that I need to speak only to them and not speak to anyone else about this matter because it could be used against me. They said they were calling from a secured and recorded line. They gave me a case ID number TX475al29 and an address 3438 E South cross San Antonio Texas 78223. They said that because the person who stole my social security number now has access to all of my financial holdings that they were the "good guys" and they were going to secure all of my financial holdings for me. They instructed me to give them all the information about any of my financial holdings which I did. I gave them the information for my Bitcoin holdings, my 401k information and also purchased 15 $500 gift cards with my credit card and provided them with the information on the gift cards as they instructed me to. They advised me that once the charges were dropped that I would get all of my money back and that I would get a new Social Security Number. They took $8100 from my bitcoin account, $67,000 from my 401k account and $7500 in gift cards.
