I received a text from a Mr. Gregory Emlet, stating he was reaching out regarding a job application I posted on ZipRecruiter, for Data Entry Clerk REMOTE. He stated the pay was $24-29 hourly with a $250 Welcome Bonus. He then stated the next steps of the Verification Process require me to text him a picture (front & back) of my driver's license. This is where my Scam-dar kicked in and I declined, stating I am aware of scams and I asked him to please provide ME with HIS credentials before I start blindly giving him my information. He asked what I would need from him. At this point I thanked him for his time but that I was declining further communication, at this time. I hope I didn't just kick a job offer out the door, but my gut tells me this was not a legit offer.
