On Craigslist, some contacted me named Bernard Kleiman. He claimed he wanted to buy a chest freezer from me for $130. He claimed he was moving to Texas and was going to have some movers come by and pick up the freezer. What does he do? He sends me 2 identical cashier's checks for $1930. He expected me to save the $130 and write out a check for $1,800 to pay these apparent movers. I later texted him saying I was positive it was a scam...he didn't text back. The return address on the envelope is in Ft Worth Texas at some apartment complex, the cashier check was issued by a bank called InvesTex from Houston.
