I applied to a job offer I was directed to by my state website, pacareerlink.pa.gov, posted by Jupiter Marine. Some time later, I received a text from someone who identified as Mrs. Shelby Seth from Jupiter Marine International Inc's Human Resource department, offering a remote customer service order entry position at a rate of $22 an hour. They instructed me to use an app called "Session" where I would then communicate with their hiring manager, Amy Znaniec. After completing an interview with this person, I was mailed a check I was told would be used to purchase equipment for my use in this position. After depositing the check into my account, all responses from the company ceased. My bank then notified me that my account had been closed due to what they saw as suspicious activity. Apparently, the check had been reversed.

Hello, I received an offer for a job without an actual interview. It was done on an app called Signal With a Lady Named Amanda Pascal. She was very robotic and I got the position and a check was sent for 6800 for the equipment needed for the position and my bank stated that it is a fraudulent company after putting it to my account. This is my first time dealing with a situation like this, I am very scared. The lady did not get any other info from me except my address and phone number.

I was sent a text for a csr job. My resume sounded good and I was hired, without even speaking to anyone. They said my salary was $879/weekly and that I'll be receiving a check in the mail to buy a computer and all items to complete my home set up. Along with the check, there will be details on my first assignment and I'm to deduct my pay of $879 and get computer with rest.

I didn't fall for this.
