Caller claimed to be officer from the WI Dane County Sheriff's Department and accused me of failure to respond to Jury Duty Summons & I was being charged with misdemeanor & arrested if I didn't pay two different payments equaling approximately $850. I was told to secure Federal payment document from Walgreens (which when I explored further was a prepaid VISA card that I did not purchase). I did not wait to hear where this Prepaid VISA would be sen as I hung up. I have reported this "SCAM" to Dane County Sheriff Department (via phone )as well as Federal Trade Commission (on-line reporting). When I looked up (googled) and found the caller's phone number on Whitepages.com, the comment attached to the phone number noted: SCAM RISK = LOW!!! The caller seemed to know my address.
