Type of a scam Online Purchase
My employee has been scammed out of $2,400 and threatened with legal action for ‘pet abandonment” while attempting to buy a Cane Corso Puppy ("Diesel"). Never received anything.
The also 'worked' with a bogus shipping company which were 'paid' part of the $2,400.00. They sent a fake address and drivers licenses (probably from earlier victim) Cindy Ray Bosi / 37786 County Road 29 Sauk, Centre, MN 612-7093-293 or 613-293-7093

He found them online, and has many pages of text communications. Requests for untraceable payments, excuses for delays, and reasons for more and more money along the way.
When he texted he was going to report them to the authorities, they said they would refund his money... to text when he received a postcard with a a code to 'confirm' they had the right address. His wife followed their instructions, only to make things worse: It was a google.com/verifymybusiness now associating that website to my employees address. I am following up with google to address that issue.
