I went to Impact auto body shop in January 2019 My spouse got into a fender bender. My insurance paid the shop the amount .Then we got additional work done such as breaks and windshield. Then he decided to put winter tires on my SUV because he said that if the insurance company sees all season they wont pay so he said that I will just lend them to you . so I set up a payment plan on the additional work he did such as windshield and break pads and I went and paid him in person he didnt give me a receipt and when I asked he said he doesn't like to leave paper trails . From then I thought to myself something is up. So month went buy we get a call from a detective asking if we were by his shop because there was a break in and he gave them my spouses name saying he stoled tires . On top of that he comes to my home and takes my car because he said that I didnt pay him . so i contacted the Police they said its a civil matter . Then he gives me a letter saying i cant get my car back until I pay the amount and he will take my SUV away for the me . I have text messages of payment and yet the cops wont help me . I have 3 kids and this guy takes my car away because he lent us tires and he said that I didnt do any payments either. This shoo needs to shut down and he needs to go to jail for what his doing.
