Image Center Distribution somehow is buying lists of companies that are leasing office equipment. Then they call ask your model number, and ask if you need anything, Like they are you new Rep from your leasing company. They did this with us with our copier machine. We are a church, and they asked the first person who answered the phone, are you running low on toner? And of course we were down to one, so the employee stated yes, they said just so you know there is a price change, we have had an increase is that ok, well she thought we needed toner so she said yes. they send it and the bill is $698 for the toner, which online is $56. BUT our service company supplies us with toner in our agreement. then the shipping charge was $83.76. Our invoice total was $781.76. when we called them they stated if we returned it there would be a restocking fee that we would have to pay for up front before they would send us a return label and we would also have to pay shipping to return the item, the restocking fee was $ 223.36. Then he said how about I take the price down to $390.88 and you keep the toner, and we put you on a closed account, well unfortunately I paid the less price, and just wanted them to take us off this list. DO NOT FALL PRIVY TO THIS SCAM... this is something they are doing to a lot of businesses.
