This organization interviewed me for a HR consultant role sent me a offer letter. Went through an on boarding process that needed to be via text until I recieved the software of the organization. The whole process seemed a little questionable but what I held on to was the legitimacy of the Company as I verified who they were and looked up all the people I was speaking to on LinkedIn everything matched. They said in order for me to complete the onboarding process they said I would need to purchase some apple equipment as there software is only capable with apple. I told them I didnt have the money to purchase it and they should send me the equipment. They said they had alot of trouble with employees in the past who did not return the equipment so they are now requiring for new employees to purchase. So I gave a deposit but also said that when I get hired I can create a better policy that would work. The phone conversations I had with the Co-founder seemed legit we spoke about real HR issues. Long story short after I sent the money the Co-founder disappeared and now I have random people contacting saying there from Craft Co. This is a bit scary because I sent over my info during the onboarding process. Luckily I have identify theft protection so they won't be able to do much with my social but still. This organization is definitely running an almost smooth operation. And I hope someone at ScamPulse.com can do something about this. No one should be scammed into have a job. That's the most awful thing you can do to a person.
