I received a phone call on my cell phone advised that his company, Illinois One, will come to my neighborhood for free inspection on the roof damage due to the recent severe storm. However he, Dustin ***, doesn't know my name and provided a wrong address of mine (and my house is not near that neighborhood at all). When I asked him how did he get my phone number, he said he got it from the city office. After I searched in the internet, I found one article in 2017 at patch.com regarding to the same storm repair phone scam at Romeoville from the company called Illinois One also. The phone number is showed on my caller ID is 630-837-0256 and he claimed his office phone number is 888-232-9223. I also checked at the Secretary of State and found no registered company in Illinois under that company name.

They called me and I was half asleep. They said they were doing free roof inspections. I was about to start looking for a roofer so I thought my husband gave someone my number. I scheduled an inspection for the next day at 9am. As soon as I hung up I looked up the company and could not find anything about the company ANYWHERE. Nowhere. So now I can't even cancel the "inspection". Not even sure what to do. The number they are calling me from is disconnected so hopefully nothing bad will happen... ugh...
