I responded to an add on OfferUp that showed the person posting as verified and agreed to pay through Chase/Zelle . Right after I sent the money it showed the transaction as "pending" which is highly unusual . I got suspicious and called Zelle and Chase while the transaction was still pending to cancel and report fraud. I was denied help and not offered a Regulation E claim. I had to get legal help to find out about Regulation E and have then called Chase again and filed a claim. I have had no luck reaching anyone at Offer Up for help or at Zelle.

I reverse searched the tracking recipe for the item that was supposedly sent to me and found out this scammer ran this same scam for at least 10 months now.
