Received message on Facebook from my friend who ended up being hacked. They asked if I had Applied for the IFC grant because they got approved for $100,000 worth I didn’t quite believe it but I was like I’m OK I’ll try they sent me the link I clicked on it it sent me to like a Facebook messenger thing to this woman name Linda Williams she said that she needed information and that she could apply for it I was like OK so I gave it she sent me a link to ID.me which I thought was legit because I mean you know companies and stuff use that to verify people so I did it and if I thought it was weird because it said Colorado labor or something like that which I thought OK I’m in Texas but I told her that and she said no it’s OK so I was I didn’t think anything of it she said I was approved but then kept wanting money and I was like I don’t have it to send she kept bugging and bugging and bugging me for money which I thought was very weird I messaged the person who I thought was my friend and I was like are you sure this is an a scam and they’re like no it’s not a scam you know me I was like OK really sounded like my friend so I said OK so I was about to do it and then I checked my Facebook and my friend had posted that she had been hacked but this person Linda Williams now has all my information social copy of my drivers license and all this other crap.

A Mark Donaldson contacted me through a Facebook “friend” that I hadn’t talked to in over a year about a government grant I won. I knew right away it was a scam but kept responding to get any information from him to report. Claimed I won a million dollars if I’d only money gram $500 to his company. Claims cash will be delivered to the fake address I gave him 24 hours afterwards.
