The text messages began on July 6. I am currently in a sober with a guy that I was in treatment with. One day this guy asked me if I wanted to make a little cash and if I had an ID and of course I said yes. Later after learning that the person that I thought was in a relationship with this unknown scammer on the other end, was in on this scam. My advice would be not to trust someone that you barely know and never give someone your info, thinking that you are helping, when you are getting scammed for whatever it might be that you are getting scammed for.

I thought site was approved by SSA and required to prove ID for SSA. I was stupid and provided info and am very frightened of possible consequences of my ignorance. I have a graduate degree from UPenn and consider myself extremely vigilant about internet issues and I got taken in by them. I will very concerned about the safety of my identity now.
