This company has a website and posted a rental on Facebook Marketplace. My daughter and I applied for the rental on March 2 (each submitting a $45 application fee). Their website looked legitimate. My daughter received an email the following week that we were 3rd in line for the rental, and they would reach out to us if the other 2 people didn't want it. Then suddenly on March 12 the rental showed up on Facebook Marketplace again, this time with Turbo Tenant. I've called and emailed Idaho Rental Management and my daughter has as well. They don't answer their phone or return phone calls and now their mailbox is full. Turbo Tenant is also investigating to see if the new listing is fraudulent as well. My daughter found out that Idaho Rental Management's address is actually vacant and available for rent. My daughter has filed a complaint with the FTC. My daughter has contacted her bank and they will likely refund the $45 she paid with her debit card; I have completed a dispute with my credit card company for the $45. But I wonder how much they've taken from people who will never know that this is a scam.
