Idaho Power called and said that my bill was due and if I don't pay my bill by 12pm, my power would be disconnected. They asked me if my power had ever been disconnected and I would have to make a special payment so that it would show that payment was made before 12pm. Male who called hung up and consumer I felt it wasn't right. I called Idaho Power directly and they said no, it was definitely a scam.

The caller stated they were calling from Idaho Power with a work order to disconnect our power due to non-payment for 3 billing cycles. We asked for a number to call back because we knew this was a scam phone call. The number they asked us to call back is 800-773-4936.

Good morning my name is Jeff at Capitol Auto Body. Just reporting that I had someone call here a few minutes ago with an Indian accent claiming to be calling from Idaho Power. He was calling to tell me about the disconnect at 5373 Emerald and probably wanted some money to avoid disconnect. I called him out as a scam before he asked for money because he was so blatantly terrible that I hope nobody could fall for this. He hung up before I could get any more info. Just letting it be known. Thanks, Jeff
