Got an automated message from Idaho Power Company telling me that my power would be turned off in 30 minutes if I did not press 1 and speak to their people.

The caller claimed to be from Idaho Power saying our power would be shut off in 35 minutes if we didn't send a cash payment. He said that it was a computer glitch and if it was found that we were current that we would be refunded and our monthly bill would be comped 50% for the next 6 months.

Just received a call that our electricity will be cut off in 40 mins.

The caller requested we pay w/credit card to Winco; ID; PIN.

Upon calling ID Power we discovered it was a scam.
