I was told by one of my old high school friends he got a loan to help purchase a home from IDA Grant and gave me a phone number to contact. This person said he represented IDA Grant and he needed $500.00 dollars to send me my $100,00.00 check to purchase my home. He asked me to go get a prepaid vanilla visa card and at first I just paid 100.00 then he said the Fed Ex that will be delivering my check needs more money to pay for Taxes and other fees. All together I paid $A500.00 then Capt. Agent Don told me that the Visa card didn't go through and need another $200.00. I went online to Visa and typed in credit card number and all three cards had been deleted of funds. He still insisted in another $200.00. I went online and applied to IDA Grant and a lady called me and I told her about this ordeal and she said they would never ask for $500.00 and to report it to BBB.
