Type of a scam Government Grant
Approached by a “friend” on fb (actually a hacked duplicate account) Told I was on a list and that I could apply for a government grant that I would t have to pay back that could be used for debt, mortgage, etc. asked to pay a few to receive money after being asked for address/personal info. I stupidly have my personal info, then after changing my mind and voicing that’s didn’t want any money and wanted to be removed from the contact list, the “nice” comments became threats. I have blocked the phone number and the person who messaged me on fb and in formed my real fb friend that they’ve had their identity stolen by a duplicate account that I reported to fb.
