This so called company called me and told me I have a debt for a credit card from legacy credit card that was opened back in 2006 and is in collections. I have been checking my credit reports for the past 4 years due to buying a house. I have never heard of legacy credit card. An apartment complex I lived in back in 2005 the manager was stealing the rent from the tenants. I haven't had a credit card in my name in over 13 years. So when me and my husband said this is a scam let me speak with your manager. The manager wasn't willing to speak with us and then they hung up. I looked them up and saw that numerous people have been complaining about this company calling regarding a so called debt from over 10 years ago. They say that they are an actual business but a business would be willing to talk to you and not hang up when your asking questions and with all the reported reports of scams fro this so called business makes me think that they are getting peoples information from online and calling them to say they have a debt. And why is it if they have your phone number which I have only had this number for 7 years how is it they don't have your correct address? This company is a scam it would be nice if they w ere shut down so they quit bullying people over accounts they never had.
